Atkins Diet

The Atkins diet is a low-carb diet, usually recommended for weight loss. The main reason why low-carb diets are so effective for weight loss is that a reduction in carbs and increased protein intake lead to reduced appetite, making you eat fewer calories without having to think about it.
ATKINS DIET
The Atkins diet is split into 4 different phases:

The Atkins Diet has four phases. Depending on your weight-loss goals, you can start at any of the first three phases.

Phase 1 Induction:

Under 20 grams of carbs per day for 2 weeks. Eat high-fat, high-protein, low-carb vegetables like leafy greens. This kick-starts the weight loss.

Phase 2 Balancing:

Slowly add more nuts, low-carb vegetables and small amounts of fruit back to your diet.

Phase 3 Fine-tuning:

When you’re very close to your goal weight, add more carbs to your diet until weight loss slows down.

Phase 4 Maintenance:

The Atkins Diet says that its eating plan can prevent or improve serious health conditions, such as metabolic syndrome, diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. In fact, almost any diet that helps you shed excess weight can reduce or even reverse risk factors for cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

And most weight-loss diets — not just low-carb diets — may improve blood cholesterol or blood sugar levels, at least temporarily. One study showed that people who followed the Atkins Diet had improved triglycerides, suggesting better heart health. But there have been no major studies to show whether such benefits hold up for the long term or increase how long you live.

The Atkins Diet acknowledges that drastically cutting carbs in the early phase of the program can result in some side effects, including:

        -Headache

        -Dizziness

        -Weakness

        -Fatigue

        -Constipation

In addition, the Atkins Diet isn't appropriate for everyone. Please consult your doctor before starting the diet if you take medications. In addition, people with severe kidney disease should not follow the diet, and the weight-loss phases of the diet aren't suitable for women who are pregnant or breast-feeding.

While on dieting the body gets less nutrition so it's necessary to get all the nutrition on a daily basis. Fast&UP daily essential supplements are the best nutrition supplements as it does not contain any added sugar and the supplement contains the right amount of vitamins, minerals, zinc etc.
