Bhuvaneshwar has been the leader of the pack for SRH for the past many seasons and has also been the most successful Indian fast bowler. However, he missed the majority of the tournament last year due to injury but will be back this year and raring to go at the batsmen with his accurate yorkers and slower-ones.

10. The Max Show joins Kohli-AB

The Kohli-AB partnership has been the heart and soul of the team and every RCB fan. This year the duo will be hoping to get huge support from the Big Show - Glenn Maxwell in their quest for maiden IPL title. The Max factor can be the missing piece of Rcb's batting puzzle.

9. Mayank to flourish for Kings

Mayank Agarwal can be a real threat to all the opposition team as the Punjab franchise has a solid top-order powered by Rahul, Gayle and Pooran with Mayank. Mayank can benefit from the fact that KL will open with him and together both can do wonders as they did last year by providing blistering starts.

8. DK’s Last Chance

Dinesh Kartik has been one of the finest wicket-keeper in the tournament leading the most dismissal charts for many years. With young keepers raising their stock at a fast pace, this season can very well be the last chance for the veteran to push for one last chance to get back into the Indian Team and play the T20 World Cup later this year.

7. One more Whistle-Podu for Chinna Thala & Thala

CSK and Dhoni badly missed Suresh Raina last year. The swash-buckling left-hander has been a legend of the tournament and has scored the most runs for his franchise. Lifting the trophy once more will be a perfect bounce back for the CSK side and they now have Dhoni’s most trusted ally for another Whistle-Podu.

6. Millionaire Morris to RR’s Rescue

Chris Morris became the most expensive player in the history of IPL when he was bought by the Rajasthan Royal for a mammoth 16.25 Cr. This year’s IPL auction saw teams going all out for the players they wanted in their team and broke many auction records. RR bid the highest for Morris, RCB broke the bank for Maxwell and Jameison, Punjab went berserk for Richardson and Meredith and CSK went for Moeen and Gowtham. Every team will hope that their big-ticket buys can cope with the pressure of money and perform the best for their respective sides.

For the first time in IPL’s history, we will see 4 Indian Wicket-keepers leading their side. While MSD has been the charismatic captain for CSK since the inception, his student-like Rishabh Pant will be leading Delhi Capitals, KL Rahul and Sanju Samson will the captains of Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals respectively.

The IPL 2021 will be like a big audition for all those who want to make a strong case to get into the national team which will take part in the T20 World Cup scheduled to happen this year in India.
